I retired from UK policing in Jan 2009 after completing 25 years police service attaining the rank of Chief Superintendent.
My most significant role as Chief Superintendent was head and strategic lead for the International Policing Department which I believe provides me with the sufficient and relevant unique experience required for a variety of security and policing posts. This role provided with the experience of Policing in the Balkans, Sudan, Iraq and Afghanistan for which I had the strategic lead and responsibility for all UK police officers deployed into these United Nations Missions. These operational policing roles included executive policing, coaching, mentoring and monitoring. The UN mission objectives were all directed towards Post Conflict Reconstruction, implementation of Rule of Law, serious and organised crime, and community policing and reassurance.
