The selected candidate is a key member of a team of highly-qualified and motivated individuals in a demanding, fast-paced, mission-critical operational intelligence environment.
Specific core duties include:
Monitoring of multiple channels of classified and open source media for US-related threats on a worldwide basis.
Drafting current intelligence reports, intelligence planning documents that support OPLANS, preparation and presentation of briefing materials and other operational intelligence products.
Sort and prioritize intelligence message traffic; select key reporting on which to write current intelligence reports.
Provide answers to operational RFIs; facilitate the flow of critical current intelligence information to operational customers who need it on a timely basis.
Perform briefings at the Department senior executive level.
May serve as the Senior OPS Intelligence officer responsible for the day-to-day performance of an OPS Intel team; may serve as a liaison to the intelligence element of one of the DHS Operating Components
Qualifications:
Candidates must be willing to work shifts on a periodic “as needed” basis (for exercises, crisis/contingencies, real world natural or man-made disasters, etc…)
Qualified candidates must possess strong analytic, organizational, oral and written presentation skills, and the desire and ability to perform all OPS Intel associated duties.
Active TS/SCI Clearance with a minimum of 9 years experience with a Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional work experience.
MUST HAVE an intelligence, military, and/or law enforcement background with a minimum of one year working current intelligence designed to support field organizations/units.
Due to the nature of work performed in our facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Candidates must have familiarity with a variety of intelligence community databases, networks, and environments. Effective use of MS Office applications in a multi level security setting required.
