I was a member of the Bomb Squad of the South African Police Service for 18 years, including instructor for 5 years.
After I left the South African Police Service I did several international contracts regarding IED/EOD/Bomb Disposal operations and Training to Foreign Military Forces as well as Demining contracts for several demining companies.
During these contracts I was employed as Instructor, Project Manager, Supervisor and Explosive Scene Investigator and had to deal with operations, management and supervision of several teams.
I also had to liaise with international institutions like the UN, Military, Police Forces, Government Officials and local communities.
Additional tasks also includes management of finances, logistics, personnel issues and reporting to the UN and HQ.
