From July 2007 – July 2010, John worked as an International Civilian Consultant to Counter Intelligence Vetting section and was an advisor to the NATO staff in this field. He also assisted the Theatre Security and the HQ ISAF Security Officer in the production of ISAF Security Orders. He specialized in Counter Intelligence, Counter Terrorism, Security and Force Protection. John has extensive experience in leadership, human resources, and Intelligence/Security management, always successfully completing Junior and Senior Leadership Management courses with outstanding results. Throughout his career he was challenged, both as a subordinate and a leader, in support of numerous Aid to Civil Power events to include Border Patrols, Anti Smuggling and Counter Drug Operations. John is a member of Canadian Institute of International Affairs, the United Kingdom Photographic Interpreters Association and ASIS and IACSP.
