27 years service at various locations including a large ‘nuclear’ establishment, a small visiting forces (US) establishment, MDP Agency Training Centre, Force Intelligence Bureau and Professional Standards Department. performed a variety of roles, including general and armed police and security duties, police dog handler, shift commander, deputy senior police officer, trainer, trainer development officer, intelligence officer, Single Point of Contact for telecommunications data, Covert Human Intelligence Source (CHIS) handler and intelligence manager. I have also had some experience of other covert policing techniques (including deployment of Automatic Number Plate Reader (ANPR) in support of covert operations) and of marine policing and computer crime.
