Ken Guest is a former Royal Marine Commando with experience in Maritime Security, Risk Assessment, and Security Training & Management. He is a non-drinker, non-smoker, is competent in the use of firearms, is in possession of a Seaman’s Card & Discharge Book, CRB check, current ENG 1 medical and the commonly required maritime training certificates. He is presently engaged on maritime security contracts through the IRTC and Indian Ocean and has practical onboard experience in risk assessment, journey planning, vessel hardening/preparation and response procedures. Prior to this he was based between Afghanistan and the UK, working as an independent consultant.
