Group Operations Security Manager - Supreme Global (logistic) Solutions

 

  • Identify and manage security risks relating to the Supreme Group to ensure best practices, business resilience and protection of personnel, infrastructure, plant and equipment
  • To meet and where possible exceed the corporate and divisional objectives related to security and risk.
  • Provide a comprehensive, efficient and cost effective operational and tactical security service and informed strategic advice to the Supreme Group
  • Manages the development and implementation of global security policy, security risk management, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security and loss prevention
  • Security responsibilities include asset protection, loss prevention, access control systems and video surveillance, information protection, network security, network access and monitoring policies and employee education and awareness.
  • Prioritise security initiatives and spending based on appropriate risk management methodology.
  • Maintains strong and effective relationships with customers, local, state and federal law enforcement, other related government agencies and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee emergency/crisis and incident response planning.
  • The investigation of security breaches and assisting with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary. 
  • Maintain knowledge of complex industry trends, current macro and micro level security issues and technologies and update management on risk and threat that could impact the Supreme Group’s business.
  • Responsible for providing leadership, advice and counsel to executives, directors and line management on protective security, security risk management and loss prevention policy. Identify exposures and recommend and develop corrective plans as appropriate.
  • Oversees Sub-Contractor performance for conformance to original security proposal and maintaining continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations.
  • Provides the operational direction for asset security, access control, physical security and facilities security implementation.
  • Advising on holistic security for new builds as well as providing security advice across Supremes’ logistical - warehousing and fuels sites in Afghanistan, the Middle East and Africa.
  • Liaison with in country security staffs.

  • Ensuring IDS met the security standards contractually agreed with the Identity and Passport Service (UK Home Office) as part of the £400m UK Passport contract
  • Ensuring compliancy to UK Government Information Assurance (IA) and security standards for the newly developed standalone IDS UK Passport project network

  • Responsible for the detailed inspection of all RAF and US (U.K. based) military assets that ensure the defence of the U.K.
  • Ensuring Operational Resilience
  • Supervised and co-ordinated joint agency inspections with various UK/US security agencies
