I was doing my basic training in the spring of 2006 at the Air Force Training Regiment 1 in Straussberg. After my training I became a logistics soldier at the Logistics Battalion 171 in Burg, where I was doing six months on the staff as a staff service soldier. After my military service I provided a further 14 months additional voluntary military service on the staff of the Logistics Battalion 171 and was thus 23 months at the army. I finished my military service with the rank of OR-3 and the shooting line in gold. In 2008 I made a further month military service as a reservist. During my tenure, I got a staff service training, a training in dealing with medical supplies at the supply and repair center for medical supplies Blankenburg and i completed a pre-deployment training for conflict prevention and crisis management.
