My name is Mikael Hersenius, I am a registered Nurse from Sweden. I have served in the hospital setting and the field in different areas since 2002. I have specialist degree in pre hospital nursing and have obtained training in emergency & disaster medicine at university level. Presently I am a graduate student at the American Military University at the Master of Arts in Emergency and Disaster Management program. I have field experience from Afghanistan, where i served with the armed forces as a rifle man/ medic, and from Sudan and Pakistan where i served for the swedish civil Contingencies Agency as instructor and team medic. My training in tactical and remote medicine was obtained in the US and Central America, via the international school of tactical medicine and the global medical rescue services.
