Discharged from the IDF Airforce special forces in 2000 after a 4 year service - I started working in africa. Intially providing special forces training to governments in the great lakes region such as Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda I subsequently became an expert on the domain of exploitation of natural resources and the connection to regional conflicts. On these issues I wrote for publications such as the institue for security studies in South Africa, Janes information group and various other publications. In the last few years I had lived and worked in Burkina Faso as a consultant to the Burkina MOD, I am an honorary consultant to the Kenya Wildlife Service on anti-poaching operations and have done work with several governments on the Somali issue, focusing on Al-Shabaab and their financing methods. Today I coordinate security for the 2012 CAN african football championship working closely with the Gabonese government.
