I am a Royal Marines Lieutenant Colonel at the point of leaving the Service and looking to utilise my ability in the commercial sector. I have over 20 years experience in the Royal Marines and gained a considerable range of skills and attributes as a consequence, including: both operational overseas and managerial experience in a variety of headquarters functions; worked as the Chief Operations Officer of the 600 man security organisation charged with ensuring the security of the UK’s Nuclear weapons; and a significant amount of experience in the UK Ministry of Defence fulfilling Department of State functions. I also understand the nature of the current security challenges and threat streams as well as having held a wide array of demanding appointments in a large number of functional areas including UK Ministry of Defence Policy, operations, project management and strategic manpower planning. Additionally, I have worked extensively throughout the Middle East.
