Essential :
- Previous report writing experience.
- Knowledge of geo-politics and regional security issues.
- Knowledge of open source intelligence processes.
- Experience of Networking/Working with Human Sources.
- Familiarity with intelligence cycle and analytical process
- University degree in the field of, or associated with international relations, political science or a security or intelligence discipline
- Previous experience with a security information service or related area of journalism.
- Proficiency in a regional foreign language.
- Risk management or relevant security training.
- Intelligence training in a military or intelligence agency
- Extensive personal network of intelligence, travel security and other contacts able to provide security information and insight
