Served as the leader of a four man Light Infantry team while deployed in the Afghanistan Theatre for twelve months. Performed numerous patrols, searches, and interrogations. Maintained, inspected, and was responsible for over one million dollars of government equipment and vehicles. Helped, lead, and guided team members in combat. Also helped build two forward operating bases (guard towers, HESCO barriers, CAT5 communications, fuel depots). Daily security check points initiated.
