I am currently contracted by Pilgrims Group as a Security Advisor to Al Jazeera International in Misrata, Libya. I have worked for many years internationally within the security industry and in many different commercial sectors, including up to 7 years in the oil/gas and energy sectors, whereby I have gained a huge amount of experience that would benefit an employer. With a combination of Australian military and security experience spanning more than 28 years that includes 21 years of international experience up to Regional Management level in China and South East Asia. Sectors employed in include; Oil and Gas, Construction, Recreation and Leisure, Auctions and Exhibitions, and Close Protection of clientele in high risk environments. I am a fully qualified Occupational Health and Safety Advisor holding the UK NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. I also hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Security Management from Loughborough University as well as a Certificate in Terrorism Studies from Saint Andrew's University in the UK. I am currently completing an Advanced Certificate in Crisis Management with Saint Joseph's University in the USA. Locations employed in include: Middle East (Iraq, Kuwait), Africa (Angola, Nigeria, Libya), U.S.A., Europe, Central Asia (Afghanistan, Kazakhstan), and throughout East Asia.
I am a strategic planner with the ability to draw upon the many years of experience gained from working in difficult and demanding environments across the world.
