Scott James Security Design is an independently owned security consultancy offering expertise in all aspects of security design and all of our personnel are experts in their individual field. Based in Newport we operate throughout the UK and Europe offering modern, effective flexible advice and solutions to today's security challenges.

Our fees  are calculated on a daily or project rate depending on the individual client  needs and security project. We offer total transparency and will provide where  necessary all details and costs relating to services contracted on the clients  behalf.

Successful security management and design requires an amalgamation of varying technologies and services to deliver a solution that is fit for purpose. The process begins with a careful evaluation and risk assessment that allows us to build an exact picture of what is required, we then provide practical, confidential, and cost effective advice that is completed product and supplier agnostic. All initial consultations are free of charge as we will not accept any projects that we do not have the appropriate experience to deliver.

We receive no payments from any  other party than the client which allows us to maintain complete independence so  protecting you the client from outside commercial influence. By having no  affiliations to any manufacturers we are able to specify equipment most suited  to your application and our knowledge of the industry, its working practices,  and associated costs allows us to deliver systems and processes that offer both  upfront savings and superior whole life costs.
