I am 6 months from graduating with a two year associates degree. I was previously enlisted for 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and served as a rifleman scout with 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. During my 3 tours to Iraq my unit conducted counter insurgency and counter IED operations with the exception of the 2003 invasion, where my unit was responsible for long range reconnaissance (route, area, and zone) ahead of RCT-5. I was an Illinois police officer from 2006 to 2010 where I enforced federal, state, and local laws.
